After “Jersey,” Natural Star Nani’s latest movie Gang Leader created a lot of buzz by promising trailers and it is released today worldwide. Let’s see whether Nani’s Gang Leader is lived up to the expectations or not.

Story:

Gang Leader has a different storyline.  A group of 5 members robs a bank and they were killed by an unknown person after the robbery. The murderer and the robbed money of 300 crores are unfindable for around 14 months. Five ladies of different age groups form a team to take revenge on the culprit. In that process, five ladies take help of story writer called Pencil Parthasaradhi( Nani). Rest of the story is how all five ladies and Pencil Parthasaradhi find the culprit and take revenge on him.

Analysis:

The bank robbery scene is simply superb. five ladies gang lead by senior actress Lakshmi has been active to take revenge on culprit. Nani and the 5 lady gang begin a search operation to trace the culprit.  Those scenes were a little bit boring and not up to the mark. When Deva(Karthikeya Gummakonda) is entered into the story as a racer, Pencil Parthasarathy suspects racer Deva is the one who did the robbery.

The second half is engaging, the director struggles to narrate the story in the first half. Second half was engaging with some twists though everything appears to be in the correct place, the audience will feel something is missing in the film. Production values by Mythri movies are good. Anirudh’s background score is good.

Natural star Nani performance as Pencil Parthasarathy is simply superb. His comedy timing, ease in acting are good to watch. Senior actress Lakshmi, Saranya, and heroine Priyanka all done a good job. Director Sukumar guest appearance is a highlight. Karthikeya Gummakonda ( RX 100 Fame) has done justice to his character as Villain.

Positives :

Nani’s performance

Different Storyline

Casting and their performances

Twists

Back Ground Music

Negatives :

Average First Half

Dull Narration

Songs

Verdict :

The “Gang leader” was a Decent Movie for Families.

For the first time, Mega hero Varun Tej played a full-length mass role in Harish Shankar’s directorial Valmiki which is the official remake of Tamil hit Jigarthanda. Pooja Hegde is the leading lady and Atharva Murali will be seen in a key role. With a decent post-release buzz, Valmiki is released today. Let’s check-in detailed.

Rest of the story is about the difficulties of the director while convincing the gangster, Ganesh accepts for directors wish and the rest is the story.

Analysis:

A hero with a class image has been roped in for an out and out mass character and his story is directed by a man who is struggling for the debut the film’s structure itself is unorthodox, Harish Shankar’s storytelling and narration is commendable that even its two hours and fifty-minute runtime seems negotiable except for the pre-climax. Valmiki is a film with all genres. Its like full meals for the audience except for the last 30 minutes. Director Harish Shankar shows his strength in comic scenes.

Varun Tej, performance as Gaddhalakonda Ganesh stuns the audience. Pooja Hegde is superb in “Elluvochi Godaramma” Song. Atharva Murali, Mirnalini Ravi done a decent job. Comedian Satya plays important role. Brahmaji did well ( a+b)2 scene. Tanikella Bharani, Annapurnamma performed well. Mickey J Meyer songs and background score are good.

Director: Viswanth Arigela
Producer: Sai Venkatesh Gurram, Patchva
Banner: Bhavna Creations

99Telugu.Com Rating 1.5/5

Jodi is the latest film of Aadi and Jersey fame Shraddha Srinath. It is a romantic family drama that deals with the concept of gambling.

Story:

Kapil (Aadi) is a hardworking software employee whose father (Naresh) is a gambling addict. Kapil falls in love with Kanchana (Shraddha), but heroes father’s gambling addiction comes as a hurdle for his love. How their love wins is the rest of the story.

Analysis:

Director Viswanth filled Jodi movie with all the essential elements such as love, revenge, message, comedy. But his script turned out messy with none of the above elements holding the interest of the audience. The direction is very poor that even noted Tollywood actors seemed helpless throughout the film. Jodi tested the patience of the audience with poor narration and failed in all aspects. The second half is horrible and villains character is very dull with zero expressions. Aadi must blame himself for doing this film he has opted out for better script rather doing blindly.

Songs are really bad not even pleasant to listen nor picturized well. Cinematography is fine and the film has vibrant visuals with decent production values. Dialogues are very poor.

Positives :

Shraddha Srinath

Decent Production Values

Negatives:

Weak Story

Boring Screenplay

Too many songs

Second Half was Horrible

Verdict:

Saaho Movie Review And Rating

Movie: Saaho
Cast: Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Chunkey Pandey, and Vennela Kishore.
Written & Directed by Sujeeth.
Producers: Vamsi – Pramod.
DOP: Madhie.
Background Music: Ghibran.

99Telugu.Com Rating 2.5/5

The much-awaited Indian film of the year, Saaho which features Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor, Chunkey Pandey, Jackie Shroff, and Neil Nithin Mukesh is all set for a grand release over 10,000 screens worldwide with huge expectations. Saaho is costliest action film made on a massive budget of 300 Crores, Saaho has been the talk of the town ever since the spectacular trailers released with high action sequences done with Hollywood stunt choreographers. Let’s see whether Saaho lives up to the expectations or not.

Story:

Underworld don Roy ( Jackie Shroff ) and his enemy Devraj ( Chunkey Pandey ) live in a city called Waaji, where the movie is based. The Old mafia don Roy hides whereabouts of his son to protect from enemies. Back in India, a 2,000 crore robbery is under investigation by undercover agent Ashok Chakravarthy ( Prabhas ). Ashok and Amrita (Shraddha Kapoor ) chase Jai ( Neil Nitin Mukesh ) in the robbery case. The robbery is linked to the Waaji city dons. Rest is the story.

Analysis:

A striking “Waaji City” is introduced in the opening scene after that introduction, a parallel story in India begins on a slow note. Prabhas entry scene is not much engaging, fans will definitely disappoint with the entry scene. An undercover cop investigating a high profile case gives some hope and excitement and follows the good twist at the interval, the first half of the film is routine. Prabhas costumes and looks are not up to the mark.

“Ye Chota Nuvvunna ” song visuals are good, “Psycho Saiyaan “song is very boring on the screen. The ‘ Bad Boys ‘ song picturization is very good. Then follows some scenes with poor screenplay action scenes or graphics scenes shot in Dubai is just ok which are said to be highlight before the movie release. VFX shots are poor, then another story about “Karana village” begins. After that flashback has been revealed in bits n pieces with poor climax.

Ghibran background is good, UV Creations production values are lavish but the budget wouldn’t be 300 Crores as said by the makers. Director completely missed out utilizing Prabhas’s pan India star image. Hero Characterization is very dull and poor. Dialogues are not effective, Performances by lead actors Prabhas, shraddha Kapoor, and Neil Nitin Mukesh are just okay. A stellar star cast is wasted.

Positives :

Interval Twist.

Pre-Climax Action Scene

Background score

Negatives :

Boring and flat narration

Story and Screenplay

Prabhas Image not utilized

Verdict :

Saaho is not up to the Expectations. Dull Saaho!
