KCR Extends Full Support To PV Sindhu

KCR Extends Full Support To PV Sindhu

PV Sindhu who won Gold in world Badminton Championship is facilitated by Telangana CM KCR. CM congratulated Sindhu for her achievement and KCR extends full support to PV Sindhu and said that the Telangana government would arrange all requirements for her future tournaments.

KCR gave his assurance for the world champion when KCR called Sindhu at Pragathi Bhavan. KCR said that Sindhu has become the pride of the nation by winning the world championships. Sindhu was accompanied by her parents and her coach Pullela Gopichand. Sindhu showed her gold medal to KCR and also gifted him two of her badminton racquets.

KCR felicitated Sindhu with a shawl and a flower bouquet. The Sports and Youth Services Minister Srinivas Goud is also with KCR.

Former TDP MP Siva Prasad Passes Away 

Another bad news for TDP and it’s supporters Chittoor Former TDP MP Siva Prasad passes away today at age 68. The senior leader is suffering from chronic kidney-related issues and treatment is going on since 10 days in Apollo hospital Chennai. Recently TDP Cheif Chandrababu Naidu went to Apollo and enquired about his health condition. Today at around 2 PM he breathed his last. He was elected as Member of parliament from Chittoor for two times i.e 2009 and 2014. He was a noted film actor and director in Telugu film industry.

Naramalli Siva Prasad is well known for his different getups before parliament for protesting against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh state and after bifurcation, he protested against BJP led NDA government to grant special status for AP.

Tax Cut From Nirmala Sensex Zoomed

In a move to revive the slow economy rate, the BJP government at the center is taking the necessary steps. Central Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, announced a cut in the corporate tax rate for companies. Later after tax cut from Nirmala Sensex zoomed high after 10 years.

Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s fresh announcement was good news for the investors and the stock markets that already started gaining.

The biggest announcement is cutting down the income tax to domestic companies and the manufacturing sector. The new tax rate now stands at 25.17 percent for existing companies while for new companies the effective tax rate will be 17 percent.

Earlier the corporate tax was at 30 percent and considering surcharges and cess, it would go all the way up to 34 percent. For the new companies, the government fixed the tax at 25 percent and with miscellaneous, it would reach 29 percent.

With a difference of nearly 12 percent for the new companies especially in the manufacturing sector, they could benefit hugely. At the same time, the new companies should start their operations in the country by March 31st, 2023.

After Finance minister‘s announcement, National Stock Market zoomed today with the Sensex index reached 2,284.55 points in its biggest intraday gain in more than a decade.

Swami Chinmayanand Arrested

BJP Leader Swami Chinmayanand arrested, he was accused of rape by a law student in Uttar Pradesh, Swami was arrested after five days of the woman explained about the sexual assault and blackmail before the court. He was sent to jail for 14 days.

The police based their charges against Chinmayanand on videos handed over by the 23-year-old woman, who claims she secretly filmed him using a camera in her spectacles.

Before his arrest, Chinmayanand was taken in a senior police officer’s car to a hospital in Shahjahanpur. He had been hospitalized yesterday after he complained of “uneasiness and weakness”

He was a minister in former Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s government.
